Well, Thank you, Sisiphus. My wife's favourite place is San Diego: not only is the weather a balmy 68-72 degrees most of the time but she reckons that she has never been anywhere where people smile (naturally and good-naturedly) for so much of the day.
The event in Manchester was a good day. There were lots of information stands from various organisations and the sort of essential information that carers need to know. So, I was rather an oddity in the day but it worked out OK.
I'm off to Bentham this Saturday as I'm contributing to the Christmas Cracker that a local Carers' Group is running.
