I apologise if it seems that my reply suggests derailment on my part, but I couldn't help thinking of a recent edition of "The Now Show" on Radio 4. (8/12/06-podcast available). Their sarcastic, somewhat misanthropic but oddly humourous views on Christmas or "Winterval" as termed by the ridiculously liberal extremists, amused me. This has added to my personal list of thoughts to remember that keep things in perspective, for me. Oh dear, I think I need my coffee!
