Being one of the youngest from a family of nine children, he has always lived in the shadow of competition. He was born, educated and lived most of his life in Birmingham. He developed a very successful track record in sales and management at a young age working for a global telecommunications company. He was very career focused, wanted more and did get more.

Five years ago, he turned away from it all as he went alone and set up his own company. Within three months of setting up, he was struck by an illness that almost took him away from his wife and three precious children. This is where his story begins…

The origins of this project started whilst recovering from his illness and studying for his degree in teaching. He became aware of the challenges faced by people from different communities and cultures and also organisations who wanted to interact more with these consumer groups.

His project, Smart Talk, works with various organisations who wish to engage with the cultural diversity of the UK. This is achieved by providing marketing strategies and bespoke training programs. One of Smart Talk’s current projects works with a leading international charity where we provide multi lingual training and awareness campaigns.

His dream is that the project will grow and sustain itself and by doing so will create opportunities and vision both for himself and others. His motivation comes from his family and the past illness. They are reminders of his past, present and more importantly, his future.

When asked about his hobby his answer was to avoid mid-life!

He has also wanted to write a book and now is a better time than ever. He is very creative and looks forward to developing more ideas when he return from India. From this journey to India he hopes to bring back wisdom, courage and the energy to carry on. After all, all change is good.
