Blogger profile

Sarah Newton is Britain’s best known teen coach. She appears regularly on TV and in printed media and has recently hosted an eight part TV series ‘My Teen’s a nightmare – I’m Moving Out’. Sarah's 'no nonsense, no pyschobabble' approach means you don't always have to struggle with teen related issues. Sarah is currently writing her first book which is due to be released in Spring 2007.

An ex-police officer, Sarah's life changed when the 15-year-old boy she led to a cell committed suicide because his life wasn't worth living. Passionate about helping teenagers realise their potential, she has dedicated the last ten years of her life to helping young adults and their families overcome the issues of the teenage years. The consultancy employs Sarah’s proven proprietary methodologies which are designed to develop positive long term outcomes.

Underpinning all the Consultancies programmes is a model which is designed to enable awareness and understanding such that fresh perspectives can be developed. It encourages responsibility and positive action and provides young adults with the information and tools to take control of their lives, understand the possibilities and transform their situation.

Sarah Newton Consultancy also enjoys an international profile and international client base.

Our young girls deserve more! In a recent survey 63% of young girls surveyed said they would rather be glamour models than professionals. Worried that our future mothers are on a path to excessive drinking, promiscuous sex and materialism Sarah Newton launched her everyday role models campaign. This campaign aims to challenge current stereotypes and show young girls that ordinary girls can be extraordinary. Sarah is calling on the media, schools, parents and young girls themselves to challenge their current perception of female role models and start a revolution that will change the future of our next generation. This blog is my journey which is bound to full of highs, lows, tears and lots of excitement as I take on the U.K. with force.
