Nick Bullions is an avid supporter of his local arts scene. He has for many years been actively involved in arts and cultural activities in his area, and has alongside this, been an enthusiastic volunteer with schools, young people and women's groups. Based on his experience, his project is to develop the capacity and income generating potential of his local arts groups. To facilitate this he proposes creating a documentation service for involuntary arts and heritage groups and organisations, community arts ventures, and heritage sites in Harlow. He will compile, organise and manage a copyright free community arts and heritage picture library. There is a real need in the local area for groups to be able to publicise themselves and their events effectively in order to raise their profile. Many of these groups are not able to afford the cost of professional services to do this. Nick hopes to combat this, and will also offer his photographic skills to be used for promotional purposes for arts groups.
