The project aims to start a creative academy in Stoke on Trent, which will engage with youths who are socially and educationally excluded and encourage their creative talent. The academy will offer courses free to these youth and ensure they also gain transferable skills which can help them get employment. The academy will be sustained through various grants and private contracts, workshops, facility hire and selling of services. Matt is currently in conversation with Stoke City Council to cover the cost of the building. The UnLtd award will enable the creation of a mini academy from which to grow.
