Sari UK Ltd, founded by Sital Haria in December 2002, is a new British design label that aims to make an ethical and social difference. It combines high fashion, recycling and international aid. From recyclable saris, Sari plans to produce designer garments, accessories and soft furnishings. Surplus profits will be donated to support projects in developing countries, mainly in India. With a Level 2 Award, Sital is building on her successes to turn the company into a viable social business. It is now manufacturing and launching SariÕs first garments collection, developing and refining the retail and rollout strategy and expanding its ÔSave a SariÕ campaign.
