"There is no doubt that UnLtd's Award Winners are a significant force in creating positive economic, social and educational change in towns, cities and villages across the North of England and the Midlands. The range of ways in which our Award Winners are improving society is stunning - establishing a community owned natural power station, pioneering new treatments for drug and alcohol addicts, campaigning to change Government legislation and helping mosques to deliver mainstream services are but a few examples".
