Create Social Change in Edinburgh

We are working with Edinburgh Printmakers on the launch of a new programme of funding and support for people who want to use their creative skills to tackle a social issue in the South West of Edinburgh.

If you have a creative idea that aims to solve a social problem, this new programme could be a great opportunity for you to get funding and support to turn your idea into reality.

Successful applicants could receive:

  • Up to £3,500 to test your idea and start to create a social venture
  • Support and guidance from an UnLtd Award Manager
  • Specialist advice from experts
  • Access to resources to get you up and running
  • Mentoring support
  • Links to the Edinburgh Printmakers' creative community

We are also running a programme for young people. If you’re aged between 16-24 and have a creative idea to tackle a social issue in the area, we could support you on your first steps towards creating change. You could receive up to £500 to test your idea, alongside a package of support and guidance from UnLtd, resources and mentoring.

An information day is being held from 10am-3pm on Wednesday 29 May 2019 at Edinburgh Printmakers’ new home at Castle Mills for people to find out more about this exciting new programme.

At the event, you can find out more about the programme, hear from Edinburgh based creative social entrepreneurs and UnLtd award winners, learn about how to create social impact, and much more.
