What we offer

We want to see all employees develop during their time with us, so they can continue to shape the social entrepreneurship sector - whether at UnLtd or elsewhere. All employees have access to a wide range of internal and external training programmes, coaching, mentoring, secondments and other development opportunities.


As a UnLtd employee there are many benefits you can take advantage of and we hope this page will give you a taste of what's on offer.

If you work full time your normal working hours are 35 hours per week. We operate a flexi-time policy with core hours of work between 10am - 4pm. As a full time, employee, your start and finishing times are at your discretion provided you work all core hours and 35 hours by the weekend.
We offer 30 days paid holiday (five of these are fixed over Christmas) plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff). Staff can also purchase an additional five days of annual leave each calendar year.
You can apply for a season ticket loan to help manage the cost of your travel once you have completed your probation.
In the event of death in service we will pay four times your annual salary as life assurance to your nominated beneficiary.
Staff are eligible for sick pay of up to one month full pay and one month half pay depending on length of service. Following the diagnosis of certain illnesses, you may also be eligible to receive payment under our Income Protection Plan.
In addition to all statutory benefits for parents and those adopting, we offer an additional 12 weeks’ pay at full salary to staff going on maternity leave provided they have at least a years’ service and intend to return to work. Staff going on paternity leave who are eligible will receive two weeks full pay and a further two weeks half pay to be taken within a year of the child’s birth.

All UnLtd staff are automatically enrolled into the Group Pension Scheme at 4% of their salary during the probationary period. The employee may opt out of auto-enrolment by contacting the Pension provider. Upon successful completion of probation, UnLtd will match employee’s contribution up to 5%. Following two years of service, provided they contribute 5%, we will then increase our contributions each year up to maximum of 10% once they reach five years of service.
We offer you an Employee Assistance Programme including a confidential helpline which you can contact 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for assistance inside and outside of work.
Following five years of service staff can apply for a one-off three month unpaid career break.
Staff have up to two days of volunteering allowance they can use each year.
All employees are also entitled to an eyesight test funded by UnLtd every 12 months. A contribution will also be made to the standard cost of glasses if they are required for the sole use with a Visual Display Unit.
