UnLtd's mission is to reach out and unleash the energies of people who can transform the world in which they live. We call these people social entrepreneurs.
'Social Entrepreneurs: The Facts'
UnLtd is celebrating its support to over 1,000 entrepreneurs a year with the launch of a series of findings 'Social Entrepreneurs: The Facts'. The latest statistics show that 89% of individuals supported by the organisation feel able to create positive social change. Of these, 97% felt that was as a direct result of running their venture supported by UnLtd.
This Findings Paper provides a unique insight into start-up entrepreneurs supported by UnLtd, detailing who they are, their work and the social impact they have. It demonstrates how an investment in the individual and their practical solutions to the problems they face generates a ripple effect with the potential to create significant and lasting social change.

SHINE unconference for social entrepreneurs
Thursday 13th – Saturday 15th May 2010
Central London
SHINE is where social entrepreneurs develop their skills, share knowledge, ideas and advice. It's a mini-business school that convenes everyone involved in the movement - from start-ups to investors - as social enterprise moves into the mainstream.
The people who make up SHINE are changing our communities, doing good business and making money. Their early and burgeoning social enterprises are the future of business. SHINE is for these people, those who support them and others inspired by the idea of social entrepreneurship.
SHINE's annual unconference is the biggest in the UK for social entrepreneurs. It's the opposite of a traditional business event, offering a dynamic network where you can be a part of helping the whole movement grow. Come and join us and get stuck in!
