I lead a highly motivated team focused on embedding rigorous mixed-methods approaches and evidence in all our work at UnLtd. I am committed to maximising social justice for all, and am drawn to systems thinking to use holistic, integrated perspectives to solve complex problems. I care deeply about learning and continuous improvement, seek to privilege grassroots-led approaches, and advocate for the voices of underserved communities whenever possible. Before joining UnLtd, I have worked primarily in international development, with a D. Phil. in International Development from Oxford University and extensive experience of working on education systems, organisational development, and policy reform in over 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Pacific. I also lead Samaanta Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that provides comprehensive higher education fellowships to meritorious public school graduates from disadvantaged communities in rural Nepal.
