Mental Health Awareness Week 2025

This Mental Health Awareness Week, UnLtd has joined forces with social entrepreneurs and their communities up and down the country to share how being connected can provide us with a sense of belonging, safety and support in hard times.

By Nicola Curtis, External Affairs Lead

We’d like to share the conversations filmed on our Pop-up UnLtd sofa – a space for open dialogue between social entrepreneurs and the people they support.

Together, they explore this year’s Mental Health Awareness theme of ‘community’ and how community spaces, social enterprises and shared experiences can provide a lifeline for people.

Empress Gibbs of Skate Buddies, Matthew Williams of Knockout Depression and Kritesh Bisht of InStudents share a brew and chat with some of the people who make up their communities.

Skate Buddies is on a mission to bring communities together through roller skating. Here, founder Empress Gibbs talks to one of her skaters, John.
