Our Try It award will help you on your first steps of testing out your idea. We’ll back you with up to £500, alongside a unique package of support including one-to-one coaching from a dedicated award manager (one of our local experts in helping social entrepreneurs to start and grow), training, mentoring and access to networks of other passionate people doing good.

Important information

We currently have funding and support opportunities for:

  • Social entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales 
    Our boosted core awards programme is open for ideas at any stage.  
  • Social entrepreneurs working on products and services to improve quality of life for older adults
    You can apply for Thrive, our social accelerator, or for early stage funding and support.
  • Social entrepreneurs with ideas for community impact
    We're accepting award applications for projects in Brighton, Dundee, South Wales Valleys, North Staffs, or from one of these 19 Big Local Areas.

New funding opportunities will be opening up in Autumn 2020 for England-based social entrepreneurs, so watch this space. We are committed to 50% of our awards going to Black, Asian and minority ethnic social entrepreneurs, and/or disabled social entrepreneurs across all of our funding programmes.

 

Criteria

UnLtd supports those who are:

  • Aged 16 and over 
  • Reside in the United Kingdom 
  • Willing to participate in a learning experience 
  • Working to benefit people living in the United Kingdom 

UnLtd cannot support ideas that:

  • Are part of your paid employment where you are an employee 
  • Involve political or religious campaigning 
  • Involve activities outside the law or against public policy, or anything that encourages ethnic, religious or commercial disharmony
